Galway Festival Radio has kicked off with a bang this week and and will get into full swing next week on Flirt 101.3. Everyday for the next two weeks from 2pm to 3pm, and repeated from evening at 7pm, we'll provide you with a range of content interview and info from the various events going on around Galway. Stay tuned!

“Who do you think you are?” that is the subject of The Blue Teapots new offering titled I.D.’ in the Galway International Arts Festival. The title of the play has a double meaning referring both to intellectual disability and identity. The importance of a person’s identity and how society shapes your identity is all part of the subject of this year’s play. Hot on the heels of last years success, Sanctuary, ID is selling out fast. Hear what the actors, Paul Conolly & Micheal Hayes and this years director Scott Williams had to say when Ailbhe & Colm met them earlier in the week.



Also this week IN GFR Colm chats to writer Mick and actor Zaina from the upcoming production Radio Luxembourg about their roles in the show and their recent success.
Radio Luxembourg, a new play by Mick Donnellan is a black comedy centring around two Irish people involved in a Tiger Kidnapping that goes terribly wrong. Paddy and Joe arrive at a local bank manager’s house to tie up the man’s daughter in a bid to use her as ransom. But things fail to go as planned:
